Senior Companion volunteers assist other older adults to live independently and be able to continue living at home and avoid the need for more expensive, less personal care. They assist with grocery shopping and other daily tasks necessary to maintaining independence or simply "act as a friend" and visit with their peer.

Areas served are primarily East Chicago, Gary, and Hammond.
